As Feng Shui consultants we recommend not working or sleeping in the sector of the home or office where the annual 5 Yellow resides. Activating the negative energy of the 5 Yellow with frequent use can have poor outcomes for health and finances. Sometimes unfortunately, avoiding the sector with the 5 yellow is not possible, especially if it is the sector where your front door is located.
In addition to adding metal objects to weaken the 5 yellow, a Salt Cure is also recommended to help reduce its negative effects.
Here are the simple steps:
- Chose a large container that is proportion to the room, for example if it is a large room use a larger container.
- Get ordinary sea salt or rock salt, enough to fill 2/3 of your container.
- 6 copper or brass coins and one silver (real silver is not necessary).
- Water.
Simply fill your container 2/3 full with the salt. Place your coins on top and pour in the water to fill the rest of the container. Place your salt cure in the sector where the 5 yellow resides for the year, for 2016 it is the Northeast sector and leave in place until Feb 3 of 2017. Best of luck!
